For 2024 Batch, TCS introduced a new role TCS Prime that offer package of 9LPA for UGs and 11 LPA for PGs. TCS offers three roles in On Campus and Off Campus Drives from 2024. They are:
Ninja - Package of 3.3 LPA for Undergraduates and 3.5 LPA for Postgraduates
Digital - Package of 7 LPA for UG and 7.3 LPA for PG
Prime - Package of 9 LPA for UG and 11.5 LPA for PG
The role is offered based on the overall performance of the candidate.

Academic Qualifications :
Course Type : Only full time courses will be considered.
Percentage : 60% or Above 6.5 CGPA
Backlogs : No backlogs / arrears allowed.
Gap : The gap/break in education should not be more than 24 months.
Work Experience : Experience upto 2 years are eligible ( M.Tech ).
Age limit : the age should be in between 18 and 28.
Recruitment Process for Freshers in 2024:
TCS conducts total of Three rounds in the hiring process.
Online Assessment
Online assessment id conducted in TCS ION centres, the candidate can choose the center during the registration through college.
It contains 2 parts,
Part A : Foundation Section
Part B : Advanced Section( Important for Digital and Prime aspirants )
Technical Interview
After online assessment , the shortlisted candidates need to attend technical interview.
HR Interview
After the technical interview, the shortlisted students will appear for final Managerial round or HR round interview.
Online Assessment (round 1) :
First round of the hiring process after applications is Assessment Test.
This consists of two parts.
Part A : Foundation Section ( Important for Ninja role)
Part B : Advanced Section ( Important for Digital and Prime roles )
Part A – Foundation Section :
The foundation section is mandatory to perform well to eligible for Ninja role. the is section contains 4 sections of questions. all are in MCQ type.
Traits ( Only for Off Campus )
Numerical Ability – in this section, there are 20 questions which we need to solve under 25 mins. it is better to solve at least 12 to 14 questions correctly to clear this section. the difficulty of the questions is easy to medium.
Verbal ability – In this section, there are 25 questions and need to answer them under 25 mins, ( 1 min for each question ). it is easier compared to numerical and reasoning sections.
Reasoning – In this section, there are 20 questions and need to solve under 25 mins. it is better to solve at least 12 to 14 questions correctly to clear this section. the difficulty of the questions is easy to medium.
for Digital and Prime roles, the candidate should try to answer at least 70 to 80% questions correctly to be able to meet such criteria.
Part B – Advanced Section :
The Advanced section is mandatory for Digital and Prime roles.
This part contains 3 sections.
Advanced Quantitative and Reasoning, 2. Advanced Coding Easy and 3. Advanced Coding Medium
Advanced Quantitative and Reasoning Ability (25 mins – 14 questions):
This section, spanning 20 minutes, focuses on advanced quantitative skills and includes 10 questions that challenge candidates’ mathematical prowess.
The Advanced Reasoning Ability segment, lasting 15 minutes, assesses candidates on intricate problem-solving and analytical reasoning through 10 carefully crafted questions.
Advanced Coding (90 Mins 1 Easy and 1 Medium):
The most extensive section, Advanced Coding, demands 90 minutes of coding proficiency. Candidates will face two coding questions, evaluating their coding skills, problem-solving ability, and algorithmic thinking.
In this SectionIts better to take 30 mins for easy questions and use remaining 60 mins for medium level question.
Important Points to Remember:
Note : To attempt the medium level question, you have to submit the easy one first. You can make changes on first question later after unlocking medium question.
The Coding UI is not user friendly. You have to make yourself comfortable with the interface by finding how to use it.
If you want to switch between programming languages then the code already written will be reset.
The test cases that are given may not be consistent in format.
Its better to use C, C++ or Java for easy io operations as the given test cases can contain inconsistent format in hidden cases rather than giving same like in sample test cases.
There is no custom input option to check output for our own inputs.
